One of my earliest childhood memories was of playing in the brook that ran beside my bedroom window. In summer I would sit on the root of a tree and dangle my toes in the current, seemingly lost, caught up in the pleasure of the senses and quiet contemplation. One winter afternoon I was tracing it's frozen path and I noticed a bottle had frozen into the surface. I brushed of the dusting of snow and noticed I could see through the glass to the water running below. I was convinced this was a portal and I could travel to other realms by gazing into it. Perhaps even, forward and backward through time. My little sister and I visited this portal or oracle, every subsequent day that winter. This video is an attempt to give the feeling of travel through space and time by entering a river.
